The player that is a potential steal for the Canadiens is none other than Dylan Strome.
You'd think a player of Dylan Strome's calibre would be expensive, but it doesn't appear to be the case. The price for Strome, according to Chicago reporter Mark Lazerus, would be a third or fourth round pick!
It's surprising he's still a Blackhawk, but the league's salary cap may explain it. He'll be a restricted free agent this summer.
Considering the Habs already have three third-round picks in the 2018 draft, a third-round pick for the 24-year-old center is a steal. So the risk is negligible.
