The popular NHL Network site has listed 10 young players who are expected to break out this season.
At the top of the list is Carolina Hurricanes prospect Seth Jarvis. It's hard to understand why his name is on the list, considering he scored 40 points in 68 games in his first NHL season last year.
At the number two position, Quebec's Alexis Lafreniere is on the list. Laffy has struggled a bit since his arrival in the NHL. Last season, he collected 31 points in 71 games.
In third place, forward Mathieu Joseph is there. When he joined the Ottawa Senators at the last trade deadline, the Quebecer had 12 points in 11 games. Everything indicates that he will have a great campaign with the Sens.
