End of the Program?

The ban is set to be in place until 2026, which would be a total of three college hockey seasons. Captain Nick Sheridan discussed what the ban could mean for the program.

"If we do get the three-year suspension, I think the program is done"

Hazing is a serious issue in many college programs, hockey included, and schools have taken serious actions to quell this from occurring. While many may think this punishment is too harsh, hazing has led to serious incidents and even unfortunate deaths.

The team is appealing the suspension, and there is assuredly a second side to the story. However, if the punishment isn't lessened, the program could very well be in serious trouble.
