VIDEO: We Can Now See the Exact Moment Where Aaron Ekblad Dislocated His Shoulder
Florida Panthers star defenseman Aaron Ekblad left his teams game against the New York Islanders with a seemingly very painful injury.
Upon closer review, it appears that the Islanders' Oliver Wahlstrom popped Ekblad's shoulder out.
Wahlstrom plays until the whistle. Gets his stick in on Bobrovsky and Panthers take exception.
Ekblad goes after Wahlstrom and Wahlstrom fights back.
Looks to pop Ekblad's shoulder out.
Wahlstrom sits for roughing.
Hopefully this isn't a long-term injury for Ekblad, who has already missed time this season.
For a Panthers team now in the bottom-10 in the standings, they can't afford to lose their #1 guy.
