Mike Hoffman's absence was the subject of much discussion today at the Montreal Canadiens' annual golf tournament, as many wondered if Kent Hughes was about to trade him.
Mathias Brunet, from La Presse, spoke with the Canadiens VP of Communications, Chantal Machabée, and she told us that the forward is sick.
The doctor did not recommend that he attend the team's golf tournament.
So, no, Hoffman will not be traded soon, although nothing is impossible.
