Today team Canada plays Slovakia at the IIHF World Championship tournament in the Quarterfinals and interestingly star forward Connor Bedard has been demoted.

Connor Bedard is known as one of the best young players in the world. This season he showed his immense talents with the Chicago Blackhawks. However, at this year's IIHF World Championship, he has struggled. This has led him to be demoted to the team's 13th forward.

Connor Bedard is listed as Canada's 13th forward for today's QF vs Slovakia. He played 8:08 in Canada's last Preliminary Round game vs Czechia.
