Connor Bedard is listed as Canada's 13th forward vs Slovakia

Today team Canada plays Slovakia at the IIHF World Championship tournament in the Quarterfinals and interestingly star forward Connor Bedard has been demoted.

Connor Bedard is known as one of the best young players in the world. This season he showed his immense talents with the Chicago Blackhawks. However, at this year's IIHF World Championship, he has struggled. This has led him to be demoted to the team's 13th forward.

This demotion comes just a couple of days after a rumor surfaced about a potential injury for Connor Bedard.

Whether he is injured or not Connor Bedard certainly has not been himself during this tournament. His performance today in whatever role he plays and going forward if Canada can win will be watched closely by the entire hockey world.
