If he wants Timo Meier, he'll him first, and if he chooses a different player, he'll make the offer it takes to get it done.
The Leafs have been tied to many players, such as Ryan O'Reilly, Patrick Kane, Jakob Chychrun, Jake McCabe, Ivan Barbashev, Max Domi, Vladislav Gavrikov and Luke Schenn, and insiders believe at least one of them will be wearing white and blue by the end of the week.
