The Toronto Maple Leafs lived to play another day after picking up a huge 2-1 win in Game Four of the Leafs and Panthers' best-of-seven series on Wednesday night.
This was the most physical game so far, with a lot of post-whistle activity, including at the final buzzer when a late check by Brandon Montour led to chaos.
During the scrum, Matthew Tkachuk, who is known as an agitator, punched his former junior hockey teammate, Mitch Marner, in the face.
Marner talked about it after the game, saying,
"I know what he's trying to do. I don't really give a flying 'F'. You know what the next word is."
For those who don't know, Marner and Tkachuk were former linemates for the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League, winning the Memorial Cup together back in 2016
The two were very close friends, but apparently not anymore as Marner tweeted after:
Funny how people change so quick from your friend to a b***h.
