Alex Debrincat has been traded to the Detroit Red Wings, per Elliotte Friedman:
Trade Details On Its Way
The details for this blockbuster deal have yet to be finalized. The return going back to Ottawa should be a good one for the top Sens scorer.
Debrincat's Career so Far
Acquired by the Senators at last years draft for 2 picks in last years draft, and a 3rd rounder in this years draft. Debrincat put up 27 goals and 33 assists to a total of 66 points in a full 82 game season.
Debrincat has broke the 40-goal mark twice in his NHL career, in 2018/19 and in 2021/22, both during his tenure with the Chicago Blackhawks.
