The New York Rangers season ended in disappointment. After a first-round exit, the Rangers are rumored to be shaking up their roster. In this rumor, Chris Kreider may be pushed out of town.
In a rumor put out by someone named Eklund the New York Rangers are said to be listening to offers on Chris Kreider over the last 72 hours. The 32-year-old winger is heading into the fourth year of a seven-year deal. He has a $6,500,000 cap hit. Kreider also has a no-move clause that would have to be waived for him to be traded.
In his post Eklund also mentioned that several teams have reached out to the Rangers in the last week. The three teams named specifically are the Detroit Red Wings, Colorado Avalanche, and Minnesota Wild.
