On January 30, Bo Horvat was traded to the New York Islanders for Anthony Beauvillier, Aatu Raty and a first round pick in 2023.
However, since joining the team, Horvat has fewer points than Beauvillier. He has four points, including three goals, in seven games while Beauvillier has six points, including four goals in as many games.
Could the Islanders regret their trade? It's a short sample to say that, especially knowing Horvat's great potential.
Time will tell if Lou Lamoriello was right to make this trade or if he will regret it.
