On the Cam and Strick podcast, former Ottawa Senators player Chris Neil made some shocking revelations about Guy Boucher.
Neil said he had offers from a few teams, including the Canadiens, before he retired in 2017. The player turned them down, however, because he did not want to move his family.
He said he would have liked to play for a team like the CH that often plays the Sens, as he would have been able to throw pucks at his former head coach, Guy Boucher.
"Montreal was really interested in me, so I would have been able to play against the Senators a lot and I would have been able to throw pucks at Boucher on the bench." - Chris Neil
Neil also said Boucher didn't have his locker room.
"He didn't have control of the locker room, it was more the players who had it. We held each other accountable." - Chris Neil
