Bruins Making Bold Lineup Decisions Ahead of Game Seven
After losing games 5 and 6, the Bruins are somehow on the brink of elimination against the Florida Panthers. Jim Montgomery won't be complacent with these lines.
Big Changes Coming
While he is still almost guaranteed the Vezina trophy, and may even get some Hart votes, Linus Ullmark hasn't been himself in the playoffs.
Whether he's nursing an injury or just off of his game, he needs to be playing better.
With the B's on the verge of elimination, all signs point towards Jeremy Swayman getting the start.
Swayman is arguably the best backup in the league, and could be the x-factor for the Bruins tonight.
However, while Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic believes this will be the lineup:
Marchand-Bergeron-DeBrusk
Zacha-Krejci-Pastrnak
Hall-Coyle-Bertuzzi
Frederic-Nosek-Hathaway
Grzelcyk-McAvoy
Lindholm-Carlo
Forbort-Orlov
Swayman
Jim Montgomery is staying tight-lipped.
It does however seem that Connor Clifton and Nick Foligno will watch from the press box.
Hopefully this is the winning formula for the Bruins, who nobody expected would ever be in this position.
