The Bruins iconic announcer has always been met with mixed reactions. He brings passion to Bruins hockey but many feel he is too biased as an announcer. These mixed reactions have continued even after the announcement of his last game.
Often cringeworthy, but I will miss him.
Despite his controversial nature throughout his time as the announcer of the Bruins he should be commended. Being an announcer and being talked about for that long is an impressive feat. The game of hockey will miss having Jack Edwards to talk about once he steps away.
