Nervous energy and frustration surrounding the Boston Bruins exposed
Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery was not pleased with the performance of his team in game five against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Now the mood around the team is starting to shift as fans and reporters alike start to get nervous.
That energy stems from the Bruins head coach. He was clearly irritated after his team lost game five, a low-scoring contest that was decided in overtime. The Bruins had plenty of chances to end the series then and there, but they just couldn't secure the killing blow.
Asked Jim Montgomery how long he lets losses like last night linger.
«I'm still pissed off from last night, to be honest. I don't understand or accept our play from last nightSo I'm gonna be pissed off until puck drop tomorrow night.»

It feels like Montgomery is trying to rally his troops by expressing his emotions so clearly. He says he will continue to be 'pissed off' until the puck drops for game six, giving us an idea of what the mood around the team will be like leading up to the contest. Perhaps the players will respond by giving their best efforts in game six, hopefully closing out the series.

Reportedly, Bruins fans and writers alike are starting to get nervous after the loss. That being said, the team still has the 3-2 series lead with home ice advantage. Game six will be in Toronto, but should the Leafs pull off another upset, the Bruins will have the luxury of playing the deciding game seven at home.
«Being around Bruins writers and fans They're furious. They're nervous. And they're questioning their coach and David Pastrňák.»

Hopefully for the Bruins though, it won't come to that. After all, it seems like Jim Montgomery might blow a head gasket if the team does end up dropping another game in the series.
