A lot of things factor into a game. Frustration sets in and tensions rise high.
Slashing Andersson and Punching Lewis
Well, Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman blew a gasket and could be facing a lengthy suspension.
During their tilt with the Calgary Flames, Ryan Hartman made his presence felt and known in a bad way. Hartman whacked Rasmus Anderson with a brutal slash during a scrum in the first period. He then followed that through with a punch to the face of forward Trevor Lewis.
Hartman went on to receive a double minor for his actions. Not a wise move to make on his part and the department of player safety will likely come calling.
