We know the playoffs get physical and injuries happen that was the case when Islanders forward Jean Gabriel Pageu would give Hurricanes Teuvo Teravainen a nasty slash.

After the game Hurricanes head coach revealed the worst when sharing that Teravainen wil, need surgery and is out indefinitely.

Rod Brind'Amour shares post-game that Teuvo Teravainen suffered a broken hand tonight as a result of a slash and will be out for the series. He'll have surgery tomorrow.
