Just when things were looking good for the Carolina Hurricanes winning in overtime to take a 2-0 series lead, the Hurricanes get dealt some bad news.
We know the playoffs get physical and injuries happen that was the case when Islanders forward Jean Gabriel Pageu would give Hurricanes Teuvo Teravainen a nasty slash.
Teravainen Needs Surgery!
After the game Hurricanes head coach revealed the worst when sharing that Teravainen wil, need surgery and is out indefinitely.
"I'm a little pissed, to be honest with you."
Rod Brind'Amour shares post-game that Teuvo Teravainen suffered a broken hand tonight as a result of a slash and will be out for the series. He'll have surgery tomorrow.
