BREAKING: Patrick Kane Reveals Major Update on His Health Status
Patrick Kane has provided a major update regarding his health status and what he feels he can provide as a player.
Kane Reveals Health Status
Patrick Kane is one of the top players left on the free agent market and he has gotten a lot of interest among contending teams.
He has made it clear that he does not intend on signing up until he is fully rehabilitated from his hip.
Today, Kane provided an update on how he thinks he can do as an NHLer right now.
"I know I'm 35 (next) season, but it's not like I feel old. I still feel pretty young. I feel like the passion is still there. I still know I can be a top player if my focus is solely on hockey instead of how I feel" - Patrick Kane
Kane is coming off of a year where he scored 57 points split between the Chicago Blackhawks and the New York Rangers. He also tacked on an additional 6 points in 7 playoff games in the playoffs.
While he is not the MVP-caliber player he used to be, he is still an elite player who can provide plenty of offense to any NHL team. Kane put up those kinds of numbers while requiring hip surgery.
Arguably the best American-born NHLer of all time, Kane will search for his fourth Stanley Cup next season with whichever team he signs with.
