Blackhawks Rookie Superstar Connor Bedard Silences Players and Coaches that Hate Him
Connor Bedard was one of the most hyped hockey players coming into the NHL this season, and it's safe to say he has lived up to expectations.
Bedard Having Breakout Rookie Season
All eyes have been on Connor Bedard since his time in juniors. Pegged as the number one pick for a long time before the draft, Bedard was paraded around once he was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks.
That attention made some NHL coaches and veterans mad, however, Bedard has backed it up with the start of his season.
Earlier in the season, some veteran NHL coaches & players were quietly complaining about how much media coverage Connor Bedard was getting.
But the rookie has just delivered for Chicago, again and again. Haven't heard those comments in weeks.
Bedard Has been Red Hot In Last Few Games For Blackhawks
Bedard has been red-hot over the past few games with the Chicago Blackhawks. He has 8 points in his last 5 games, including a Michigan goal and an overtime winner against the Winnipeg Jets.
Now, all that is left for Bedard to do to solidify his prowess in the NHL is to win the Calder Trophy, one he pretty much has locked up if he continues the pace of scoring he is on.
