Bettman Provides Major Update On Perry Situation
Today a pair of NHL insiders were able to provide updates on the Corey Perry situation straight from commissioner Gary Bettman. According to the insiders Perry will not be facing further investigation from the NHL.
Bettman says he is comfortable with results of Blackhawks investigation into Corey Perry, has not determined if the player will need to have a conversation/hearing with him to return
Another report indicated what the next step could be for Perry in a potential return to the NHL.

Further reports from Chris Johnston this time provided more context on what Corey Perry might need to do to get back into the NHL.
Gary Bettman says he hasn't determined if Corey Perry will need to have a conversation with him if he wishes to resume his NHL career at some point.
While it has not been confirmed one way or the other a conversation with Bettman is likely before Perry is reinstated. For now, Perry will likely work on the issues that led to his incident.
A path back to playing does seem possible though after today's statements from Bettman.
