Jonathan Toews' Future Plans Have Been Revealed, and Retirement is Unlikely
The Chicago Blackhawks made a major announcement earlier today concerning their captain, Jonathan Toews.

After months of rumors, it was finally confirmed: Jonathan Toews will play his final game with the Blackhawks tonight. But it doesn't necessarily means the end of his career.
Toews Is Seemingly Not Retiring
As Pierre LeBrun reported, there are some chances of seeing him next season.
"The plan is for Toews to take some time after the season and see how he feels, etc. If a Cup contender comes calling July 1, does that interest him? Or does he pack it in after a terrific career? TBD."
This mostly depends on his health at this point. He has missed a lot of games in the last few seasons due to illness. Any team that would be interested in him will probably wait for confirmation that he can still play an 82-game season.
