Joel Quenneville poised to expose the Blackhawks scandal
The former Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville appears poised to expose the Kyle Beach scandal that surrounded the team in recent years.
Quenneville is set to appear on the Cam & Strick Podcast, hosted by former NHLer Cam Janssen and reporter Andy Strickland. The episode, which will be released on Tuesday, April 9th, will feature the former coach opening up about the scandal.
The podcast shared a promo, in which Quenneville reveals that he talked to Beach, a major development in the situation.
"Have you talked to Kyle?"
-"Yes I have." - Joel Quenneville on Kyle Beach.
The Blackhawks surely hope that this will help some fans to turn the page on the scandal.
Joel Quenneville looking to make a return in the NHL?
Quenneville hasn't returned to the NHL since the 2021-22 season. To this day, he still hasn't returned to coaching, but if he aims to come back, getting clean in an interview seems like a great step in the right direction.
His experience and great record could entice teams to hire him despite the controversy. Many organizations will be looking for a head coach this summer, and if Gary Bettman allows his return.
Do you think Joel Quenneville will find another job in the NHL?
