Gabriel landeskog breaks his silence on his retirement
Today after the Colorado Avalanche's elimination from the Stanley Cup Playoffs GM Chris MacFarland spoke to the media and was joined by captain Gabriel Landeskog.
Gabriel Landeskog has missed the last two seasons of hockey due to a major injury. Many believed that his career was going to be over. Today in a press conference Gabriel Landeskog confirmed he will not be retiring and is working towards a comeback.

This is fantastic news for the Avalanche who have missed Gabriel Landeskog in their lineup for the time he has been out. He will also potentially have to replace Valeri Nichushkin whos future is unknown according to Chris MacFarland.
