Former Red Wings Star has Found a new Career in Hockey
For 14 seasons, former Red Wings player Pavel Datsyuk wowed fans with his creativity on the ice. However, Datsyuk decided to go to his native Russia to continue his career.
Last summer, Datsyuk decided to retire from playing, ending his incredible playing career. However, it seems he has a new job.
Datsyuk's new job
According to multiple sources, Datsyuk has been hired as the Player Development Manager at Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg, the KHL team that he most recently played for before retiring.
Throughout his impressive NHL career, Datsyuk played in 953 games, he scored 314 goals with 604 assists. He scored 42 goals and 71 assists in the 157 playoff games he appeared in. Datsyuk spent his entire NHL career with Detroit. In the KHL, he scored 60 goals with 144 assists in 260 games.
