Connor McDavid Makes Bold Statements About Auston Matthews' Game
Respecting your opponent is one of the best hockey traditions.
You know your game is good if your opponents compliment you, it shows that your opponents respect you.
Connor Mcdavid has gotten 124 points in 65 games, a new personal record for Mcdavid.
Despite this, he couldn't help but compliment Matthews' incredible shot.
McDavid, one of the NHL's best all-time players, and the almost certain Rocket Richard winner just gave a huge compliment to Matthews.
This type of humility is not seen enough amongst the best in the league, and McDavid has shown a lot of respect with this compliment.
