Last night during the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars game on Hockey Night in Canada broadcaster Ron MacLean disrespected the Oilers and his fellow co-host Kevin Bieksa.

Ron MacLean has been known for being in the middle of many controversial moments during his lengthy broadcasting career. Most of those moments came at the hands of his former co-host Don Cherry. However, last night Ron MacLean made one of the biggest blunders of his career throwing an Edmonton Oilers jersey on the floor.

Throwing a jersey on the floor is a fine Ron

The incident was met with frustration immediately by his co-host and former Vancouver Canucks defenseman Kevin Bieksa. As Ron MacLean went to put the jersey on the ground Kevin Bieksa stopped him and called him out for throwing it on the floor.

Bieksa stopped McLean from putting oilers jersey on the floor. He's the best.

This is just another blemish on the long career of Ron MacLean that will likely go on to be forgotten about. It is clear though that a former NHLer and many fans took offense to the lack of care and respect for an NHL jersey that Ron MacLean showed.
