In breaking news, Roberto Luongo was seen gearing up for the Florida Panthers earlier today.
Roberto Luongo Returns to Panthers Goal For Practice
Roberto Luongo is one of the all-time great goaltenders and has a special place in all of the Panthers' fans' hearts. Today, they got to relive their glory days with Luongo in the net, as he filled in during practice for a missing Sergei Bobrovsky.
Bobrovsky not practicing today.
Filling in? Luuuuuu!
While Luongo hasn't played since 2019, it is fun for fans to see him back on the ice, even if it is just for practice.
Luongo had an incredible NHL career, one that landed him in the Hall of Fame in 2022. He played in over 1000 games and finished with a 2.52 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage.
"If you stepped in off the street and you had no idea who's in the net, he looked like an NHL goalie except with a little more gray in the beard."
Four years after retiring, Roberto Luongo showed he can still handle a #FlaPanthers practice!
The man still got it!
