The Florida Panthers and Minnesota Wild's Friday tilt was a wild one, but the biggest story coming out of the game was the injury to star veteran Marc-Andre Fleury.
The incident occurred when William Lockwood purposely interfered with the veteran goaltender, resulting in him going down with an injury.
Now, after a hearing with the NHL's DoPS, Lockwood has officially been suspended for three games for his involvement.
Florida's William Lockwood has been suspended for three games for goalie interference on Minnesota's Marc-Andre Fleury.
The 25-year old has just one point in 23 games with the Panthers this season, and after this hit, it's safe to say he'll be on thin ice if he gets more game time upon returning for Florida.
