Marc-Andre Fleury Opens Up About Being Benched in Pittsburgh

Marc-Andre Fleury had a long and successful career in Pittsburgh. Tonight his team the Minnesota Wild return to Pittsburgh contrary to what many thought would happen Fleury will be the backup tonight.
Today he opened up about the handling of the situation.
Fleury Benched In His Return To Pittsburgh
Tonight the Minnesota Wild face-off against the Pittsburgh Penguins in Pittsburgh. This will be a game that will not feature former Penguin Marc-Andre Fleury according to head coach Jon Hynes.
Minnesota is in the front half of a back-to-back which likely means Fleury will see action tomorrow. After this news was announced Fleury was able to speak to the media and give his reaction.
Fleury Opens Up About Being Benched In Pittsburgh
After the announcement was made Fleury met with the media to discuss. His reaction to the news is similar to that of everyone else in the hockey community.
Marc-Andre Fleury, after saying he was a little disappointed: «That's okay. I get to play tomorrow. Team's been good. Team's been winning lately. Gus has been awesome. Just gotta keep it rolling.»
Fleury is disappointed but still optimistic and understands why the move was made. Despite Fleury's positive approach many Penguins fans hoping to see the return of a team legend are not as okay with the decision.
Regardless of whether Fleury plays or not tonight, he will get his moment to be recognized by the fans. This also could give Fleury incentive to keep playing so he gets that one last appearance in front of the Penguins fans.
