A couple of weeks ago it was announced that Calgary Flames defenseman Chris Tanev had been sidelined with an injury.
Tanev was considered day-to-day by the Flames with an upper-body injury. However, just like with any injury setbacks can happen and original diagnoses can be too optimistic.
Today the Flames finally provided a more recent update that confirms some exciting news for both Tanev and interested trade partners.

After missing three games with his injury a new update was provided on Chris Tanev. Multiple sources confirmed he is skating and is projected to be back in the lineup tonight.
