New Jersey Devils hire Sheldon Keefe as new head coach
The New Jersey Devils have announced their new head coach and it's Sheldon Keefe.
After much anticipation, the Devils have finally made their decision on who will lead the team from the bench.
With a fresh face at the helm, there's a lot of anticipation about what this means for the team's future.
The announcement comes after a thorough search and consideration of various candidates by GM Tom Fitzgerald. But it seems like the Devils have found the perfect fit for the job.
As the Devils gear up for the upcoming season, all eyes will be on the new bench boss to see how they'll steer the team back into the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Last year was a season of turmoil with Lindy Ruff, now with the Buffalo Sabres and Travis Green, now with the Ottawa Senators, both having chances to right the ship behind the bench.
So today is a refreshing one for Devils fans, and everyone is eager to see what the future holds under the leadership of their new coach and young core.
