Laughton Tricked Live on Air
Trade deadline frenzy is all-consuming. Especially this years' deadline, where blockbusters were going through constantly for a week before the actual end of trading.
On an episode of the 'Nasty Knuckles' Podcast, hosts convinced Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Laughton that he was traded to Toronto!
This hilarious clip shows exactly how crazy a trade can be for a player, as Laughton immediately rushed to start telling family. Luckily the prank was revealed before any damage was done.
I'm sure Laughton would've been happy to actually go after a Stanley Cup, but he'll always have the few seconds where he believed he was a Maple Leaf.
