Angry Evgeni Malkin takes a shot at the entire Penguins team
After another loss on Saturday, Evgeni Malkin let everyone know his frustration with how the team was performing so far this year.
Malkin Lets Penguins Team Know He Is Frustrated
The Penguins haven't had the start they were hoping for this year. With new management and the acquisition of the league's best defenseman, the Pens had hoped to start the year strong. Their 2-3 record, though, tells a different story.
After their loss on Saturday, Evgeni Malkin let the team know they needed to get their act together.
"Great teams coming up on our schedule. We better start playing better. Playing smarter. Playing harder. Time to regroup. Tonight? No good. This game was just bad. I'm frustrated." - Malkin on the Penguins performance
Malkin's Start Not to Blame for Pens' Poor Performance
Malkin might have a case to be frustrated, as the 37-year-old has done more than enough to pull his weight in the first 5 games of the season. Malkin has recorded 4 goals and 4 assists for 8 points to start the year.
