It's not a great day for the Penguins when it comes to prospects named Filip.
Major Contract
Penguins goaltender prospect Filip Lindberg has signed a contract with HC TPS of Finland's SM Liiga.
The Finland native was drafted in the 7th round of the 2019 NHL Draft by the Minnesota Wild. The Penguins signed Lindberg in 2021.
The move comes exactly one week after another promising prospect, Filip Hallander, signed a 5 year contract with Timr� IK of the SHL.
