The Pittsburgh Penguins have landed their latest superstar in the form of Erik Karlsson, and now, he's already taking shots on behalf of his new team.
A long history
The Penguins have a long history in the Eastern Conference with the Ottawa Senators, especially during the time of Karlsson, and it's clear that he hasn't forgotten.
Now, Karlsson has fired a friendly shot to his former team, in the form of a comment to his former teammate Jason Spezza, the current Penguins GM, after all their long battles together.
These Pittsburgh f***s always kicked our asses, it'll be fun being on the other side.
Good times ahead
Now, both teams appear to be loading up on talent, with Ottawa looking at the future and Pittsburgh pushing their ageing core for one more, and while this comment appears to be friendly, it's a warning shot from a talented star.
With one goal and one goal only in mind, this should be a fantastic series in 2023-24, but with the team Pittsburgh have put together, they may come out on top once more in this rivalry.
