Toronto Maple Leafs And WWE Reach An Agreement
The Toronto Maple Leafs and the WWE have a history of collaborating. This tradition continues with one of Canada's most popular WWE superstars.
Edge And The Leafs Partner Up
WWE Hall of Famer Edge is one of Canada's biggest star athletes outside of hockey. On Sunday it was announced that he and the WWE would be partnering with the Toronto Maple Leafs to create some Edge merchandise with a Leafs theme.
Oh man I'm stoked! Hot off the presses! The
@MapleLeafs
x Edge collaboration t shirt is here. Only available at the
@ScotiabankArena
next Friday where I (finally) face
@WWESheamus
one on one to celebrate my 25th anniversary in
@wwe
As it says in the tweet the merch will be limited to purchase only at Scotiabank Arena during this week's Friday Night Smackdown.
This is not the first time that the Leafs and Edge have partnered together. In 2022 they collaborated on a similar merchandise drop to celebrate Edge's return to the WWE after a long hiatus.
There's moments that young, mulleted, fresh faced Adam wouldn't believe. Thankfully there's also still moments that older, pseudo mulleted, we'll go with ruggedly handsome Adam still can't believe. Like this
@MapleLeafs
x Edge co branded, one night only t shirt.
Edge Returns To Toronto To Face A Special Opponent
Edge will be back in Toronto this upcoming Friday for Friday Night Smackdown. He will face long-time wrestler Sheamus. An opponent he has never faced before and a person who he says helped him get back into the sport after his injury troubles that left him retired for over a decade.
These shirts could become a collector's item as Edge is nearing retirement and they could be an item from the last event he wrestles in Canada before hanging up his boots.
