A former Toronto Maple Leaf and Pittsburgh Penguin has ditched the NHL in favor of playing overseas.
Harrington Leaves North America
It was announced recently that Scott Harrington has signed a contract with the ZSC Lions of the Swiss NL.
Welcome to Zurich, @S_Harrington06
Harrington has been a fringe NHL player for the most part of his career getting into 255 games of action throughout his 10-year career.
He started his career with the Penguins in 2014-15 playing in 10 total games before being traded to Toronto as a part of the Phil Kessel trade return.
He would then play in 15 games for the Leafs in 2015-16 before being traded to Columbus with whom he spent the majority of his NHL career.
He played with the Ducks last year getting in 17 games and registering a career high 3 goals.
At 30 years old, it seems like his NHL is all but over.
