The Toronto Maple Leafs are locked in a close 0-0 battle early against the Dallas Stars, and now, they've received some bad news.
A key blue liner
During the first period, defenseman Jake McCabe came from the ice, and it was reported that he headed to the locker room after just one shift.
Jake McCabe took one shift of 10 seconds to start the game and hasn't played since for the Leafs.
He just went to the dressing room in the TV timeout.
With little depth on the blue line, the Leafs can't afford a major injury to McCabe or anyone defensively, so this could be a big loss for the contending Maple Leafs.
