Leafs Release Packed Lineup for Tonight's Game
The Leafs will try to come back from their tough overtime loss against the Montreal Canadiens in this first of back-to-back games against the Red Wings.
To do so, they will send their best players on the ice, giving us a great idea of what the lineup will look like for the season opener.
As you can see, William Nylander has returned to his usual spot beside John Tavares and Fraser Minten will have a chance on the third line alongside Matthew Knies and Calle Jarnkrok.
Per Kyle Cushman:
"Pretty much a full strength lineup tonight for the Maple Leafs. An educated guess on the lines based on the roster:
Bertuzzi-Matthews-Marner
Domi-Tavares-Nylander
Knies-Minten-Jarnkrok
Holmberg-Kampf-Reaves
Rielly-Brodie
Giordano-Liljegren
McCabe-Benoit
Samsonov
Woll"
Here's the full roster:
The puck is set to drop at 7PM ET.
