So, David Pastrnak was on fire today! First, he pulled off a move against his Boston Bruins teammate Jeremy Swayman during the NHL All-Star Game, sending team Connor McDavid to the finals, and then he didn't hold back on the Toronto Maple Leafs either.

Skill Showdown: Pastrnak's Playful Jabs and Mixed Results:

After the finals, when asked about Team Auston Mathew's 7-4 win, he couldn't resist a little jab, saying,

Good for them. They needed some wins. They got one.

He smirked, but you know that the rivalry between the Bruins and Leafs is still going strong. Maybe Pastrnak secretly hoped to rain on the parade of those four All-Star Maple Leafs Auston Matthews, William Nylander, Mitch Marner, and Morgan Rielly on their home turf today.

Pastrnak's All-Star Adventure: Ruffling Feathers and Ups and Downs:

On Friday, during player introductions, Pastrnak got a bit of a mixed reaction from the crowd cheers and boos battling it out, mainly from Maple Leafs fans. He just flashed that big grin of his, planted a proud kiss on the ol' "Spoked B" logo on his jersey, and even gave Toronto's star player, William Nylander, a little stare-down for good measure.

Now, onto the actual competition Pastrnak had some ups and downs. He almost snagged victory in the one-timer challenge, but a sneaky points review bumped him down to second place.
And then there was the stick-handling challenge. Things were looking good until he whiffed on that empty-netter. That sealed his fate, eliminating him from the $1 million event eventually won by Connor McDavid.
