The Leafs took a 2-1 series lead over the Lightning last night, but the game was not without plenty of controversy and drama. Now, Tampa Bay Head Coach Jon Cooper is calling out Leafs defenseman Morgan Reilly for his actions in last night's game.

Cooper Calls Rielly "Reckless"

Morgan Rielly was at the center of the controversy surrounding last night's game, as he drove star forward Brayden Point into the boards, injuring him and sparking a full on line brawl. While the play itself may have not been intentional, Jon Cooper sure has something to say about it.

Was the incident reckless? For sure, and it looked awful.

It's kind of hard to argue with Cooper's logic here, as the play was probably avoidable. That being said, I doubt many people are holding grudges against Rielly for the play.

Cooper went on to commemorate Rielly as a "super super human being", which was a nice touch from the two-time Stanley Cup winning coach.

Point was able to return to the game last night, so thankfully all seems to be good on that end of things.
