Leafs Forward Shows Incredible Leadership in the Off-Season
This Leafs forward was recently spotted showing some incredible leadership over the offseason and is poised to make a statement this season.
Kampf Ready to Make an Impact
David Kampf has been a reliable bottom 6 forward for the past two seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs, playing in all 82 games and posting 26 and 27 points, respectively. He has worked to develop his role with the team, even earning some minutes in a key penalty-killing role.
With big moves over the offseason, bringing in household names like Max Domi, Kampf will have to continue to work to prove himself. To crack a spot near the top of the lineup, Kampf will have to continue to develop his scoring talents to accompany his speed and defensive abilities.
Off Season Leadership
Recently, Kampf was spotted at «Pirate Camp», the kids camp of his former Czech2 team Pirati Chomutov. But he's not only giving back to his former club, he was also seen training with them, getting back into shape for the upcoming season.
Kämpfer was a guest coach at «Pirate Camp» (the kids camp of his former Czech2 team Pirati Chomutov) this week.
He is also spending time training with the actual Pirates team's official training camp, to get back into form for the upcoming season.
Kampf was recently signed to a 4 year, 2.4 million AAV deal with the Leafs. With that taking some weight off his shoulders, he should be able to continue to focus on his development with the club.
