Sheldon Keefe Pulls the Ultimate Classy Move to University Goaltender
Due to salary cap reasons, the Maple Leafs dressed only one NHL goaltender tonight. Backed up by UofT goalie Jett Alexander, Samsonov held down the fort.
Alexander Gets NHL Moment
In what was a crushing loss for the Montreal Canadiens, Ilya Samsonov was great.
After injury concerns in the first period, Samsonov held the Habs to just one goal.
Backup goalie Jett Alexander, who signed a one-day amateur tryout to play for the Leafs got into the game with a minute to go, and got to experience the NHL.
Congrats Jett!
