Darren Dreger: William Nylander remains uncertain vs the Bruins Game 1
The insider Darren Dreger revealed that William Nylander remains uncertain for the first game against the Boston Bruins.
The Leafs are set to play their first game of the playoffs tonight, in Boston. Unfortunately, we still don't know if Sheldon Keefe and the Leafs will be able to count on William Nylander.
"William Nylander's availability tonight remains uncertain. It's believed he felt something on the off day after the last game. Likely a «tweak» but not something he was playing with. Remains questionable for game 1."
While he could still play on game one, if he's injured, he could struggle to bring the same contribution to his team.
Without Nylander, the Leafs' offensive depth would take a major hit. This season, he tallied a career-high 98 points, including 40 goals.
Do you think the Maple Leafs can beat the Boston Bruins without William Nylander?
More to come.
