Max Domi and Bobby McMann absent from practice sparking concern
Max Domi and Bobby McMann both missed today's practice before tomorrow's game against the Florida Panthers.
The Leafs were on the ice Monday morning to prepare for their matchup with the Panthers, but Domi and McMann were absent.
Domi was injured last week in the game against the Devils but still played on Saturday. He's considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury.
This led head coach Sheldon Keefe to shake up his lines again. On the first line, Bertuzzi and Matthews remained together but were joined by Mitch Marner. Tavares, Nylander, and Knies were on the second line.
"Max Domi is not practising today after a day off on Sunday.
Domi was injured last Thursday against the Devils but played on Saturday.
Also absent: Bobby McMann.
Leafs' top six:
Bertuzzi Matthews Marner
Knies Tavares Nylander"
Once again, tomorrow, all eyes will be on Auston Matthews, who could score his 70th goal of the season. With two games left in the Leafs' season, he could very well reach that milestone and perhaps even exceed it.
Considering that both teams could meet in the playoffs next week, this game will be very interesting to watch. The Panthers have already clinched home-ice advantage, but the real prize of the game will be the momentum going into round one.
Stay tuned.
