Ilya Lyubushkin shares major news about his personal life
The Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin shared major news about his personal life last night.
HIs wife gave birth to their third child! He announced the news in an Instagram post:
The Maple Leafs and the Bruins' next game is set to go down on Saturday night. Lyubushkin will use that extra day off to with alongside his wife and take care of their newborn daugther.
As for the other Maple Leafs players, they'll also benefit from the extra day between games 3 and 4.
Auston Matthews, who was ill for game 3 on Wednesday, will have time to get back on his feet.
William Nylander, who's reportedly been dealing with a major migraine issue, will also use that time to rest and make sure he's back at 100% for Saturday.
Simon Benoit, the rookie defenseman, also shared important news yesterday: his wife is pregnant!
Lyubushkin, Matthews, Nylander and Benoit will surely come into game four on Saturday with purpose. Added to what we've said before, the Leafs will try to tie the series against the Bruins at 2.
If they lose, the Bruins will have a 3-1 lead as both teams head back to Boston for game 5, which isn't the ideal scenario. However, the Bruins did blew a 3-1 lead last year against the Florida Panthers.
