A scary scene occurred during tonight's Toronto Maple Leafs game against the Edmonton Oilers when goaltender Ilya Samsonov left with a scary injury.

The Maple Leafs were leading the Edmonton Oilers 5-2 when goaltender Ilya Samsonov let in a goal that left him in serious pain.

Samsonov is slow to get up here after the goal.

The game was thus left at 5-3, as Martin Jones will come in for the last few minutes.

Toronto Maple Leafs suffer yet another injury as Ilya Samsonov leaves the game.

With a slew of injuries already hitting the Maple Leafs, including Mitch Marner and Ilya Lyubushkin, this is a massive blow.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are headed towards a crucial post-season, and they will need everybody healthy - especially their goaltenders.
