Lightning Forward May Face Suspension After Unnoticed Hit in OT

During the overtime period, both teams played a safe but physical game.

A few minutes before Morgan Rielly scored the winning goal for the Leafs, in a sequence that went unnoticed, Pat Maroon dangerously rammed Jake McCabe into the boards.

The play wasn't called by the officials, but it wouldn't be surprising to hear from the Department of Player Safety.

This kind of hit, only a couple of feet from the boards, is vicious.

McCabe's playoff run could've ended on the spot.

The rivalry between the two teams reached another level last night, and we can imagine that it'll only go up in the coming games.
