While Ilya Samsonov is great, he's not an elite netminder. That type of player could be the piece that sets the Leafs apart from the rest.
With the Winnipeg Jets seemingly entering a rebuild, the opportunity for the Leafs to poach Vezina winner Connor Hellebuyck can't be discounted.
The only real question is if Brad Treliving is willing to take the plunge on the superstar.
