The Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Las Vegas Golden Knights last night with a whopping 7-3 score.

The Golden Knights, the reigning Stanley Cup champs and one of the top teams in the Western Conference were completely dominated by Sheldon Keefe's men.

Following a great two-goal performance in the victory, Leafs' forward Max Domi made a major declaration about his team that the fans will love to hear.

Max Domi Gives Fans Hope for the Playoffs With Major Declaration Following 7-3 Win Over the Golden Knights

In his post-game press conference, Domi basically said that the Leafs could play with anyone and that they're a tough team to beat, which is a great mindset to have at this stage of the season.

Check out his full declaration here:

"Everyone was good tonight. We had contributions from everyone. When we have everyone going like that, we're a tough team to beat. We can play with anyone. Four lines going short and hard. And everyone's sticking to the game plan: keeping it simple, staying disciplined, not taking penalties. When we do that, we just come at teams in waves and that's the Stanley Cup champions. I mean, they might not have had their best tonight, but I'm sure they'd say that we're a tough team to play against."

The Leafs won, yes, but the Golden Knights were missing several key players, such as captain Mark Stone, Jack Eichel, William Carrier and Brett Howden.

As for Toronto, Martin Jones was great between the pipes, and they could count on Morgan Rielly's return from his suspension. The momentum was clearly with the Leafs and they kept it all night. Let's hope they can keep it for the rest of the season and the playoffs.

As seen on Maple Leafs Daily - Domi drops an amazing quote about this Leafs team following a huge win in Vegas
